Eligibility and Registration:

   a. All participants must be CURRENT students of the University of Lagos. 

   b. Registration for the tournament will be conducted through the official Naija Battleground website or mobile application.

   c. Participants must provide accurate personal information during registration, including their full name, student details, and a valid form of identification.

2. Entry Fees and Prize Distribution:

   a. Entry fees for the tournament is ₦1,500 Naira and may vary based on the game and tournament format.

   b. Entry fees must be paid in full prior to the commencement of each tournament.

   c. Participants must submit their bank details while registering for the tournament.

3. Game Rules and Formats:

   a. Each tournament will follow the official game rules and regulations set forth by each respective game developers that would be played.

   b. Tournament formats (e.g., round-robin, elimination brackets) is clearly communicated to participants in events description prior to the start of each event.

   c. Any modifications or adjustments to the game rules or tournament formats will be announced and explained in detail to ensure transparency.

4. Code of Conduct:

   a. Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike demeanor throughout the tournaments.

   b. Any form of cheating, exploiting game vulnerabilities, or using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.

   c. Hate speech, harassment, or any other form of discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to permanent exclusion from the Naija Battleground community.

5. Fair Play and Anti-Cheat Measures:

   a. Naija Battleground employs advanced anti-cheat measures and monitoring systems to ensure the integrity of our tournaments.

   b. E-sports participants may be required to install authorized anti-cheat software or comply with additional security measures as deemed necessary by the organizers.

   c. Any suspected instances of cheating or foul play will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken, including but not limited to disqualification and prize forfeiture.

6. Dispute Resolution:

   a. In the event of any disputes or complaints, participants must submit a formal request for review through the designated channels provided by the Naija Battleground team.

   b. All disputes will be carefully reviewed by an impartial panel, and their decisions will be final and binding.

   c. The Naija Battleground team reserves the right to modify or update these rules and regulations as deemed necessary to maintain fairness and ensure the smooth operation of our tournaments.
